04/12/2002 Entry: "4/11/02 Oops"

Ooops, I just realized I mispoke when I said I would go live with my business by the end of the month. I must have thought it was April already as I do plan to go live at the end of April LOL. I am still busy making candles, and testing, and more testing. I have some good ones though. I'm still trying to find all the good, strong scents I want to carry.

I'm too tired to write much tonight, but I do think I better mention my wedding plans. Shawn and I have decided not to have the big wedding. We have talked it over, and we are probably going to elope instead. I think this is a wise decision for us for many reasons. The only problem is Shawn hasn't told anyone in his family yet and I think there might be some hurt feelings. But this is our decision to make. Part of the reason is financial and the other part is we simply don't want to wait that long either. I will admit (and this is no secret) that I never wanted the big wedding anyway, so I am relieved. We aren't positive yet if we will elope or have a small, private cermoney. I'll have to write more later....

I can't wait for your buisness to be ready !
As for "eloping", I don't think it's a good idea (my personal opinion). Maybe you could just have a small ceremony with a little lunch or whatever and then you and Shawn can go to a hotel for your "honey-moon" or something...

And regarding your wedding. You need to have the wedding that you want to have, not a wedding that pleases everyone else. Sam and I went to Vegas and his parents came with us, and 5 friends. It was a blast and we did the drive-through-thing in a mustang convertible. It was 4 days of party and not months and months of stress before and years of payments after. You go girl! Don't let anyone else decide how to get married. ;) (((((((HUGS)))))))
