07/14/2001 Entry: "7/14 Afternoon"

I got a new bike, and the price was so reasonable! We just got back from a bike ride around the lake. Whew, I had forgotten how tiring riding up hills could be, but I feel very refreshed. We rode around for a bit and then rode to the nearest video place and rented Space Cowboys and an older one The Thomas Crown Affair.

We didn't go to the lake as we were both kind of lazy so we did some stuff around the house and then bought the bike. I think we'll go after church tomorrow. The weather has been so gorgeous so I really want to take advantage of it before it rains again, which is what the weather channel is predicting for Monday-Wednesday.

Well I'm going to watch my movies and spend time with Shawn. :)

Congrats on the new bike! Riding around the lake sounds gorgeous :) I think you'll like Space Cowboys...we went to see that in the theatre. It was pretty funny! I don't remember much from the Thomas Crown Affair...just being flashed a lot by Renee Russo! Might want to cover your hubby's eyes ;)

Hey Leah!!! I just wanted to pop on over here and say "HI!" Wow, I didn't even know you were blogging again!! *G* I'm gonna have to add you to my reads. BTW, Thanks for the comments on my personal homepage! *G*

Also, as an aside from one of your previous entries...I am having the same trouble with NMF and now when I go to their website and look at their pricing and packages, it says $200 setup fee and $70 annually thereafter...THAT IS NOT WHAT I THOUGHT WHEN I SIGNED UP!!! UGH! And I REALLY wish I'd have screen printed every last page of what I was told when *I* signed up with them. They have had a TON of downtime lately with both the site and email...and I am just NOT happy...but DARN! I paid the $200...I hate to leave and have to pay again! UGH! Sorry to vent on you...just wanted you to know you weren't alone! *G*

Jenn, yep, Space Cowboys was really good. Shawn and I really like Clint Eastwood and laughed our butts off. I saw enough of Renee's boobs to last me a lifetime. They must not have been too exciting though as Shawn kept falling asleep. LOL

Crystal, I agree 100% about NMF. I only pay a tiny bit more than that for my new host, which I know will be great! I'm very upset that I signed up with NMF expecting to never pay another fee (as they claimed) and now it's $70 per year! What a scam!
